Contracted to finish a Data Center Consolidation Project Consisting of Server Consolidations from Physical to Virtual. Performed feasibility assessments on relocating their Web Center Services and Storage Repository from separate shared Data Centers to their internal Data Center in Greenville, South Carolina. Identified Infrastructure requirements, Costs, Resources and time to complete.
Worked with the Engineering and Architecture Team to establish a Big Data Azure Cloud Proof of Concept initiative.
Liberty Mutual - IT Project Manager
Portsmouth, New Hampshire - 11/15 – 4/16
Managed DBaaS (Database as a Service) storage improvement and migration – Upgraded the Internal Cloud storage to improve performance by adding high performance storage (flash storage) and migrated large applications to create reliable, fast IO over to the DBaaS infrastructure in multiple data centers. Utilized DB2, Oracle and SQL.
Managed a uCMDB upgrade (Universal Configuration Mgmt. Database). Managed the application and infrastructure discovery. Upgrade the script on the over 5000 UNIX servers to date to include new commands to perform the uCMDB Discovery. Upgraded the build package for all new UNIX servers being built. Successfully ran the uCMDB Job for Application and Infrastructure discovery – to identify what applications were running on all server, and where.
Gunther Management Console Project– Vendor Control Server (stand-alone Windows Server) –moved it to their Liberty Cloud VM environment in their data centers. Provided access to their print finishing centers at two other facilities. Provided Vendor VPN/remote access to their console to perform support, updates, and troubleshooting. Set up fail-over from one data center to the other.
Managed configuration of Salesforce Application in Latin America for SSO (Single-Sign-On Configuration). Set up logins for Liberty Mutual employees to allow access to the application for users on or off the Liberty Mutual network using their local Liberty Mutual ID and password. Set up webpages for 4 different environments (Development, Test, UAT & Production) using SiteMinder for SAML 2.0 for User authentication, security, and security controls (Access control/Process control).
Sharepoint DPM (Data Protection Manager) Expansion Project – Validated a supportable version of the DPM Software from Microsoft. Expand the DPM SharePoint backup software infrastructure to support moving the servers to the internal network, and provide item- level recovery for SharePoint applications in multiple data centers.
Migrated the Out of Band Server Management Connections from a Cisco Catalyst switch to a Nexus switch. Separated the management connections from the data connections, verified all server connections in multiple data centers.
Liberty Specialty Markets (LSM) Remote access - Built and provided remote access to their Citrix XenApp desktop environment including Disaster Recovery from user personal devices or Liberty Mutual distributed devices in the UK.
PAREXEL Informatics - IT Project Manager

Managed the Hosted IMPACT and GxP Product Infrastructure and Upgrades for PAREXEL Informatics clients.
Established a process with the Business Units, Global Hosting and the Database Management group to Support and Track all new Client Impact Hosting Environments and Upgrades.
Performed server upgrades and consolidation projects for Global Hosting Services including Oracle Server Consolidation and Database Upgrades, Stratus Server Replacement from physical to virtual servers and database migrations, VMware 4.1 and 5.1 Upgrades and Virtual Computing System including setup of Disaster Recovery sites.
Coordinate and drive GxP Software development, testing and Go Live activities between all Business Units. Also, Managed the Validation and Release of new Electronic Data Capture software upgrades.
Managed the Consolidation and Relocation of Data Center from UK to Billerica and Berlin. Managed the Implementation of a Central Shared Internal Cloud Storage facility to consolidate ballooning storage costs with access by PAREXEL user’s world wide.

Program Manager for Enterprise Wide, 5 year Lifecycle Management Plan to upgrade the infrastructure and software for the home office, clubs, distribution centers and data center. This included the implementation of a new network infrastructure required for network segmentation for maintaining all Security, Sarbanes Oxley (SOX) and Payment Card Industry (PCI) Standards.
