ACCOMPLISHMENTS

At Honda, l developed, executed, and managed several improvement projects that were approved for implementation utilizing Honda’s suggestion program. Each improvement targeted safety, quality, delivery, or cost. Using PowerPoint, I presented easy to follow business plans that could be accomplished with minimal or no cost using core resources. In December 2016, I created a strategy that helped to maintain ISO compliance during manpower shortages. In January 2017, to reduce scrap and improve delivery, I managed a project that prevented a supplier’s assembled part from being rejected as scrap if damaged. It also improved repair and delivery time. Also in 2017, I presented one of my larger ideas that was approved for implementation to upper management. This plan was managed by operation leaders and improved production capacity and efficiency during core hours, eliminating 2 eight hour shifts of OT cost for thousands of associates every 10 months. As a stakeholder, generating revenue through savings is important and why I developed efficient business strategies. I also investigated and managed a tool cost project that enforced a tool supplier to own and acknowledge the warranty of the tools they were reselling while the tools were still under warranty.
