As most of my experience is in teaching hospitals, I have continuously taught clinical students in General surgery and Neurosurgery. During my registrar ship in general surgery, my duties included teaching students; how to examine patients, and giving regular tutorials on various subjects in surgery.

Clinical Audit
is part of my Teaching Job throughout my career and from time to time we review management of our patients and in this process find for mistakes and in dsoing so develop a process to rectify them.
This began as checking randomly 50 patients files to see whether pre-op CBC was missed as an essential investigation.Seven percent miss was thought inadequate in the review meeting by Peers and strict monitoring was introduced .Later on the same was done for Clotting profiles, wrong side surgery, legally Informed consent and post-op wound Complications .Our experience encouraged other clinicians in the department to carry out more audits.
