Current project involves analyzing and Querying Data for the healthcare analytics team and care management teams tracking Medicaid plans, prescription drugs and providers in a county. Molina reports to Healthcare Effectiveness Data and Information Set (HEDIS) following National Committee for Quality Assurance (NCQA) standards. The collection of standardized Performance Measures in the Managed Care Industry helps in ensuring that the public has the information to reliably compare the performance of health care plans. We used CAHPS surveys from the patients to asses our internal Healthcare providers.
The main domains involve effectiveness, availability, experience of care, utilization and relative resource use, and health plan descriptive information. Based on these domains, the prime focus was on Analyzing HEDIS Measurement Information in support of Care and Service Improvisation Strategies.
