Administrative Support Assistant II PT 11/30/15 – Present

School of Health Professions Dental Hygiene Program

•Responsible for monitoring all student information (background check, drug testing and medical documentation) through Castle Branch website

•Reconcile daily cash receipts collected from AM and PM clinics, money is taken to Bursars Office for deposit.

•Daily instruct Front Desk monitor to create dental films (BWX and FMX) in addition to collating dental charts for daily use.

•Daily clinic appointment slips are added to appointment schedule, charts are removed from student file slots for each clinic.

•Screening and re-care patient information is forwarded to Clinic Coordinator to be assigned to dental student and documented into an excel spreadsheet.

•At end of year, charts are separated into Active and Deactivated status. Active charts are refiled into chart room and deactivated charts are stored in file cabinets.

•At the conclusion of each semester, each student clinic notebook is cleared out of their evaluation forms and placed in their individual clinic folders. Each notebook is then replaced with new evaluation sheets before the next semester.

•Daily charts are signed out, removed from student file area, and added into student’s folders for interpretation.

•Daily interpretation slips are added onto a list, then individual charts are removed from student file slots for the requesting faculty member.

•Order dental clinic chart papers online from E-store front using the Creative Services system from the print shop

•Assist w/planning of the Pinning Ceremony held at the end of the year.

•Prepare packets for new student orientation held annually and participate in orientation presentation.
