After moving from Florida to California I was the Executive Secretary to the Store Manager of The Emporium (a department store in Santa Clara, California). Executive Secretary and Lab Technician at Fairchild Semiconductor and Computer Programmer for a Statistician at Signetics Corporation.
After layoffs in the semiconductor industry I found work with the County of Santa Clara as:

Secretary II to the Chairman, Vice-Chairman and Nurse Manager at the Santa Clara Valley Medical Center Emergency Department and Administrative Assistant for the California Emergency Nurses Association.
Superior Court, County of Santa Clara – Criminal Division as a Legal Process Clerk III. Assistant Judicial Secretary. Courtroom Clerk. Lead Courtroom Clerk (three years).
After about thirty years, I retired from the Court and County, took some time off and then worked for Underwood & Rosenblum, Inc., a Civil Engineer & Surveying Company as an Administrative Assistant.
West Valley College, Saratoga, California A.A./Business with an emphasis in Math-Computer Science
H. B. Plant High School, Tampa, Florida Diploma with honors /Two-year secretarial program (VOE)
My husband and I hosted high school foreign exchange students since July 2000. These students came from western and eastern Europe, South America and Japan. This experience has enabled us to view the world with a different perspective other than just what is seen on the nightly news. Traveling to some of their home counties has allowed us to experience their customs and cultures and see that in many ways we are not so different after all.
With my varied experience and talent, I am looking forward to the next phase of my successful career.
