Provided ISD support to the Manager of Military Training and the Manager of Instructional Systems Design. Actively collaborated with and supported subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructors in researching, planning and writing training books in compliance with stringent guidelines addressing format, and related curriculum development practices. Edited eLearning “page-turner” modules created by outside contracted vendors, and provided commentary. Created eLearning modules using Lectora, to include audio files, graphics and edits. Used Photoshop, Adobe Bridge and Illustrator to perform minor graphic edits for eLearning modules. Majority of work was focused specifically on developing new training materials for the PurePower line of engines. Team received the UTC Audacious Award for our work on the training materials for the PW1100 PurePower Engine.

Provided contract support to US Coast Guard Academy, actively collaborated with and supported subject matter experts (SMEs) and instructors in researching, planning and writing curriculum and lesson plans in compliance with stringent guidelines addressing format, leadership principles, Gagne's Nine Events, ADDIE, and related curriculum development practices. Demonstrated extensive knowledge in providing quality support with curriculum/lesson plans for courses ranging from Leadership and Management School, Team Leader Facilitator, Apprentice Leader Program, and Senior Leadership Principles and Skills to Organizational Performance Consultant, Officer Candidate School, Reserve Officer Candidate Indoctrination, and Senior Enlisted Leadership Course. Additionally, audited courses for quality improvement, including Leadership and Management School, Senior Leadership Principles and Skills, Team Leader Facilitator, Senior Enlisted Leadership Course, Officer Candidate School, Reserve Officer Candidate Indoctrination, and Organizational Performance Consultant. Concurrently, created a dynamic brochure for Guide to Officer Leadership Development (GOLD) program.
Along with fellow team members, prepared 15 courses, learning materials, lesson plans and training aids for the first USCGA ACE visit in several years. This visit resulted in college level credits for Officers and enlisted members. In 2009, in recognition for work on the ACE project, received a Coast Guard Meritorious Team Commendation.
In 2010, in recognition for work on the Apprentice Leader Program course, received the Leadership Development Center's Director's Coin. Additionally in 2010, along with co-workers, created a beta-test for Apprentice Leader Program students and their rate-striking counterparts aimed at determining the best methods for educating members on their future role.
