Undergraduate Level

Configuring Intellectual Property(IP) For Different Applications

-Created a FPGA based motor control system which was developed using MATLAB/Simulink Toolbox and Xilinx system generator. Blocks were logically created for frequently used techniques in motor control such as Hysteresis control, Frequency to speed control and Pulse Width Modulation(PWM) and hence VHDL code was generated

-An Intellectual Property (IP) was further developed and was fed into an FPGA board. The created IP core is reusable and allows engineers to concentrate more on the control part of the system

Solar Tracking System

-Worked on the prototype model as a project leader of a team of three members. The purpose of this project was to get all day efficiency from a solar panel. In order to allow the movement of the solar panel with the direction of sunlight, Aurdino kit was used to control the angle of the panel with the help of Servo motor. My role was to program the codes and troubleshooting.

●Mettur Thermal Power Plant,Tamilnadu, India November 2015

Attended a five day training program in various areas such as thermal power generation starting from coal transfer conveyor, coal pulverization, high pressure boilers, steam turbine and finally the alternator. Additionally, I received training on control and instrumentation of thermal power plant, distribution of power, meter and relay testing.

Attended a five day training program where I gained experience on special maintenance of transformers. Training activity involved testing on transformers like Ratio Test, Magnetic Balance test, open circuit, short circuit test and Vector Group Test.

●Kudankulam Nuclear power plant, Tamilnadu, India March 2014

Visited the plant to understand how electricity is produced through nuclear fission reaction. Visited the Demo control room to understand the total Nuclear Power plant control.

Sports Activities

●Played for the Tamil Nadu Cricket Association League in the 4th division for (Bharathi sports club), 2013-2014

●Played for the Kancheepuram District league in the 1st division for (Adambakkam Cricket Club), 2011-2012
