As a Senior Secretary of the DCCT (Diabetes Control and Complications Trial), providing administrative and clerical support to six doctors. Responsibilities include: heavy telephone contact, scheduling and coordinating appointments, typing memorandums, letters, and minutes, inventory control, recordkeeping and filing and updating medical records. This position also requires heavy interface with doctors and other medical professionals, recruitment of prospective patients, use of word processing and computers and packaging and shipping of blood and urine specimens.

Prior to my promotion to District Manager, was a manager in the largest volume studio in Houston, Texas where my responsibilities were quite similar to those mentioned above except on a smaller scale.
