The Y2K Project: Involved migrating clients over to a standard AT&T East coast DOMAIN to load Y2K patches on their workstations.
Imaging project: Involved utilizing Symantec's 'Ghost and Power Quest' called 'Drive Image Pro; the images consisted of a full AT&T load (OS and all other apps).
Other responsibilities include: Providing server, desktop, and network support for users in NT environment.
Supporting, and resolving problems with local applications.
Network configuration duties include diagnosing LAN connectivity problems. Changing network closet connections, and implementing DHCP servers to convert from static to dynamic IP environment. Configuration of Internet
browsers for use with AT&T’s proxy server, installing necessary device drivers, hard-coding WINS, DNS and TCP/IP values (static networks). Adding workstation to domain, and granting the end-user local administrative privileges.
