Principal Responsibilities:

Performing all tasks associated with the position, while overseeing and ensuring efficient management of the organization’s merchandise fulfillment centre. Applying organizational skills to maintain the warehouse stocking system – instituted to ensure order and ease of storage and retrieval of products. Performing customer invoicing, processing product returns, receiving and verifying incoming and outgoing shipments of products. Performing all data entry with keen efficiency, attention to details and according to established procedures. Overseeing the verification and replenishment of inventory and other related administrative tasks.

Lack of organization or storage system in warehouse area resulted in difficulty locating and retrieving products, causing undue fulfillment and delivery delays.

The solutions: Collaborated with management and staff to review and analyze each issue, then develop, propose, and institute comprehensive systems and solutions to ensure overall ease of internal functionality, filing and storage systems, and prompt customer service. All of which were adopted.

Materials Handler/ Inventory Clerk/ Receiver 2010-2013

Principal Responsibilities

Oversaw and managed- the inventory and central receiving in the Ottawa warehouse facilities and acted as main liaison to coordinate arrangements, and deliver accurate instructions to carrier representatives for shipping and delivery of materials.
