Gain experience on shoot based workflows on cameras like 35mm, HD and recently the Red.
I was part of the team who worked on managing the chroma shoot's technical aspects, like collecting data required for the cgi team of studio and bringing in the studio that data for team so that cgi team can replicate it to virtual camera positions and cgi elements.
I was part of the team who worked on developing the Shake based compositing pipeline into the facility, how to handle things and help other teammates to get use of shake based pipeline.
Currently part of the team whose work is to develop a pipeline to be capable enough to look after the 2k and 4k plates of shoots coming from Red Camera side by side, another task is how to handle raw data coming from Red Camera into its native format r3d, how to color correct it using Red's native Color Correction tool Red Cine, and also how to convert the r3d format files into targas so that the cgi can be incorporated into the live action plates by doing tasks like chroma keying, rotoscoping etc.
