Tax Intern, SaveFirst Tax Prep, January 2018 – May 2018

Interns are officially certified by the IRS to provide tax return preparatory services for low-income families after completion of training and a passing score on the IRS tax law exam.

Over 11,600 free tax returns were prepared for families during 2017, showing a 10% increase over the number of families served last year. Additionally, during the year, tax refunds totaling $19 million were claimed by SaveFirst families.
