Reporting directly to the COO, responsible for implementing a strategic plan to fully utilize and grow Greene Tweed’s global manufacturing operations for its Chemraz product lines. Focusing on development and execution of future state plans to increase capacity (machine and labor) and level load each manufacturing location. Objectives Include:

Optimize primary manufacturing locations for each product line to reduce standard cost. To date, completed and in process projects are valued at $700k annually in hard savings

Develop and implement continuity of operations plans (COOP) for each location

Provide recommendations to executive management for facility expansions, capital equipment additions, and headcount levels at each site to meet projected 3 5 year sales forecast

Currently managing a $2.4M expansion of existing manufacturing operations in Taiwan and Texas facilities Value Stream Manager Black & White Chemraz Product Lines 2015 Sept. 2017 Managed two manufacturing departments with a total of 12 direct reports and 142 union labor employees running 24/5 operations. Overall responsibility for daily order fulfillment of Greene, Tweed & Co.’s Black and White Chemraz product lines (~150M / year revenue).

Used Hoshin planning to develop and cascade departmental strategies aligned with corporate objectives

Improved on time delivery from 93% to 98%

Increased productivity from 58% to 85%, resulting in a 7% decrease in department hourly labor rate

Reduced customer returns by 15% year over year, achieving 99.91% quality level (0.09% defective)

Engineering Supervisor – Elastomer Process Engineering 2013 2015 Responsible for pilot production and scale up of new materials and processes. Managed a team of 8 Engineers, Chemists, and Technicians.

Secured $900k in capital funding to design and build a Class 100/1000 clean room pilot cell, improving the quality and time to market of the scale up process
