PROJECT DESCRIPTION

Matalan is a British fashion and home ware retailer based in Knowsley, United Kingdom. It was established by John Hargreaves in 1985. Matalan have 217 stores across the United Kingdom.

I am part of ESB Application development team within MATALAN from the scratch for Flex project. Integration to Matalan dependent systems and in-scope 3rd party services will be executed via REST web services or with the new corporate webMethods ESB solution. The source/target systems involved were Third Light, Nova, KIBO, Shift, One Feed, Optima, Bazaar voice.

ROLE/ACTIVITIES

I am a part of the Flex development team which takes care of new interface development and deployment in webMethods 9.9 server and also fix the code in case a defect/CR is received

I am a part of the upgrade Flex development team for webMethods 9.9 to webMethods 9.12 development and deployment and also fix the code in case a defect/CR is received

Created test cases to capture all possible success scenarios and error scenarios. I created “Stubs” where we can use it for testing in case of end system is not available

I have created utility service to handled retry logic and implemented in all Flex interfaces

Delivered high quality code includes large file handling mechanism, retry mechanism

Created Operation services to reprocess in case of any failures

Understand the usage of team forge in defect ticketing

Tested all end user’s REST web services using postman

Created all understandable documents like Knowledge article, OAT sheets for all success and failure scenarios, ESB Tivoli monitoring documents before the implementation in production

ROLE/ACTIVITIES

Involved in development for the project requirement, performed Integration and system testing, and finally migrated to Production

Involved in set up of TN( Partner profiles, processing rules, documents) for various customers

Performed appropriate transformations based on the requirement and executed unit test cases

Involved in End-to-end tests for Inbound and Outbound process

Coordinate with source and target teams and see that the complete end to end integration is proper and the processing of messages is carried out smoothly
