Supervised staff and training when needed and day to day task of the work flow with staff. Enrollment and re-enrollment of providers with the payers and worked with our Corporate office with enrollment issues. Supervised Kronos for my staff with approving time and time off request on a weekly basis and as needed. Had weekly calls with our Corporate Billing Department concerning denials, self-pay, days in AR and any issues we could be having. Worked claims and help with our patients need when necessary.

Handle payroll and make payroll payments for the quarterly taxes. Balance the computer software and checking book before handing it off to the Accountant for the yearly audit. Paid all the bills, made all of the deposit for the Town and completed the budget once a year for the Town of Lockhart.

Accomplishments

I feel I had several accomplishments working at Mary Black Physicians Group through the years. Was handed the task to put in a place a better process of enrollment with all of our providers and the payers and I did accomplish this task.

Started as a Billing Specialist and grew in my career with Mary Black Physicians Group as the Director of the business office.

Under my time as Director, I was able to keep the days in AR under 25 days. Which is a major accomplishment for the size of the Mary Black Physicians Group but of course I have a great team working with me to accomplish this task.

I feel that I can work well with others and will always be truthful to my staff and co-workers.

If I am not sure of something I will do my research and find out the most I can to better understand what is needed of me at time.
