Directed the HR and government affairs function for this five state oil field services company. Handled human resource matters including growth through mergers, acquisitions and buy outs. Interfaced with the company president and chief financial officer as a human resource business partner for planning strategies. Duties included coaching organizational development, lean management concepts, elimination of duplication of operations and due diligence, Salaried recruitment. Advised site operations management on HR protocols, security, immigration EEOC, ADA, workers comp claims, salary wage administration and local government issues. Handled matters relating to homeland security and state and federal law enforcement. Worked in conjunction with the executive director of safety on matters relating to safety investigations and training requirements for the industry. As a business partner helped to grow the company from $45 million to $108 million dollars. This position required 40% travel for extended periods of time. Handled I-9 pre-litigation with savings of $459,000 on a $488,000 fine for I-9 violations with finding dismissed.
