Work location: Mumbai High, Bassein / Heera/ Tapti field, Konkan-Goa offshore, Gujrat-kutch offshore, Karikal and Rajamundry project with ONGC.

As MWD/LWD Engineer: Lead hand in Positive and Negative pulse with slim MWD tool and gamma log, in India. Well versed with rig activities. Worked on Jack-up & land rigs.

As Directional Driller: Work experience in conventional directional drilling J-type, S-type, L-type & complicated one like build, drop hole, turn KOP, build and turn many curves in one

well. Nudging in top holes, all medium radius to long radius wells as well as sidetrack

open hole and cement plug in all sections 6”, 5 7/8”, 8 ”, 8 3/8”,12 ”, 16” & 17 ” hole with

mud motors and sidetrack with whip stock (vertical with scribing manually / inclined) kick-off in

13 3/8” & 9 5/8” casing. Experienced in 6” horizontal drain hole with variation within 1m of

TVD, multilateral wells and ERD wells. Batch drilling experienced with RSS in Saudi Arabia

with Baker Hughes Inteq at KJO off-shore oil field. Well versed with hole

condition/environment.

Worked in Mumbai High offshore & Gandhar, Mehsana, Kim field in Ankleshware with

ONGC & John Energy(client), East coast of India with GSPCL & ONGC (Karaikal Basin,

Rajamundry), Hazira with Niko and at Jodhpur with Cairn Energy.

I worked in Qatar (Dhukhan oil field with Qatar Petroleum), and

In Brazil (Bahia oil field) with Petrobras (client) –Bahia oil field near Salvador in Brazil.

Experienced with batch drilling (Nudging top holes) with Auto track/motor/Gyro from 28” hole to 6 1/8” hole.

Career History

Schooling and Graduation was completed from Patna University with Geology, Physics and Chemistry background in 1994.

Passed out M.Sc-Petroleum Tech. in 1996 from Pune University and joined through campus in Oil Field Instrumentation (a Dia-Chi karkaria company) as a Mud logger. Work there for 4 years.

Completed MBA-Marketing from Pune University in 2000 and worked for 6months during MBA course as Marketing executive to group leader for selling industrial electronic weighing machine.

Later joined Computalog as a MWD Engineer – trainee. Progress continue from

MWD Trainee >> MWD Engineer – Lead >> DD Trainee >> DD- Level-IV (present).

In 2003 Precision Energy took over Computalog and in 2005 Weatherford took over Precision Energy. I was there with the organization since September 2000 to September 2012. I left Weatherford and join Baker Hughes Inteq-Saudi Arabia as DDS-IV in Aug 2012 to progress my career.
