Supervised two General Office migration from Windows 95 to Windows 2000 and from Windows 2000 to Windows XP of about 2300 laptops and desktops in four years, supporting on site local technicians in other states, from Alaska to Hawaii.
Customized MS USMT for this project. In order to accomplish the migration of OS, traveled to many NYL offices, created hard drive ghost images for real time USMT test in the Lab. Wrote OS migration procedure for third party vendor and supported their Team lead in the process, during the OS migration in 180 NYL General offices in multiple locations in same day from Alaska to Hawaii working late hours to cover the migration.
Managed a tem for four in lease expiry of 900 desktops and laptops in the home office.
Managed two project in in two year interval of replacing 250 laptops in one month for Development Managers, Each day 10-15 Laptops were shipped to LAB in the morning. Data Backup restored and shipped back to users in different States, same evening even though the SLA was two business days after laptop were received in the lab.
Configured Outlook Email and Lotus Notes Email
Extensively and exclusively worked in retrieving data from crashed SATA and SSD Hard drives and restored data.
Used Altiris, Patchlink, Symantec AV and SecureDoc Win Magic hard drive encryption consoles
Worked with various data security, A&E, network, Server groups to trouble shoot and problem resolving.
Worked with Cisco IP communicator on laptops after Windows 7 upgrade for the one way audio communication problem using head phones.
