I started part time as a dietary chef, and grew with the company from there In 2005, the company was in need of a Housekeeping Supervisor and I was offered the position.
In 2007 I was offered another position with the company Activity Coordinator. I implemented the monthly calendars, field trips, managing budgets. In 2009, I was offered Admissions Coordinator. Scheduled tours, move ins, paperwork, making sure outside sales was meeting goals, managing budget for department, sales calls to cold leads in computer. In 2012, offered Move In Coordinator. This position made sure apartments were ready for new move ins, ensuring all department heads knew biography on new residents and making sure activity director followed new resident and introduced to other residents. In 2014, offered Community Relations Coordinator position. Set schedule to see social workers and rehab centers and hospitals to maintain census and get referrals. Also was a member of Pinellas Chamber, Better Living for Seniors, Alhzeimers Association. I held a marketing motivational breakfast once a month with 40 to 60 business professionals in attendance at Grand Villa
Sensor Systems
2004 to 2006
I was in charge of assembling and soldering. I started the assembly from start to finish. Through hole and surface mount, Looking through a microscope 8 hours a day, soldering, also made sure mechanically and electrically sound. I worked closely with the engineers, reading blue prints, inventing new tools to make work easier. The parts that I had made were steering mechanisms for black hawk helicopters. It was a contract position so when product inventory was met, the position ended, I was offered another position with the company, but my mother became sick and I took time to take care of her and she had to go to a memory support at Grand Villa where she lived until 2010.
AWARDS AND ACKNOWLEDGEMENTS
Held community events for 55 plus and condo associations in the surrounding area. Printed flyers, met with condo association presidents and mobile home parks activities director to set events in their clubhouses, brunches, games and prizes, presentations about Grand Villa letting them know all about us for any references they may have, invite them over for lunch, ice cream socials and events held at Grand Villa. Also advertised on social media.
Received certificate award for assembling and testing parts to ensure electrically and mechanically sound. Also had certificate for IPC610 but has since let lapse to take care of my mother. I am always on time for work, usually 20 minutes early and rarely took vacation time off. I was maxed on my vacation and personal time off for almost 4 years. I believe that a person should work for their pay and get the job done before taking time off.
