Full-cycle HR Generalist role with responsibility for recruitment, employee/labor relations, training and LOA.
Promoted within one year to Human Resources and Safety Manager. Employee Labor Relations: Mitigate employee and labor relations concerns through HR counseling, union committee meetings and disciplinary actions; builds effective relationships with union stewards and local reps; authors grievance responses; conducts contract negotiations; administers collective bargaining agreement.
Risk Management (Safety): Plant Safety Manager and Environmental Management Rep; reduction of ISO 14001 external audits (70% reduction of findings in 2017); ensures completion of employee safety trainings and worker’s compensation administration.
