Laid off in 3rd wave of plant layoffs. Northern plant closings. Supervise and coordinate the activities of Maintenance Supervisors, technicians, contractors and temps within the maintenance area of the world's largest Steel Powder production facility. Reliability initiatives, uptime improvement, and delay reduction established by implementing PM-PDM execution and database analysis using MVP Plant CMMS, 5S, 5W, Continuous Improvement teams, and Kaizen activities previously unorganized or non-existent. Developed and implemented new strategies that reduced furnace downtime from 36 hours to 11. (Contract) Industrial Maintenance Program Manager General Physics Corporation - Cleveland, OH - 2002 to 2005 Timken Steel contract of 42 days extended to 18 months, US Steel contract of 30 days extended to 16 months.
