Responsibilities

Assisted an elderly gentleman with his appointments and errands. I was responsible for his safety and transportation to various doctors, barber, grocery shopping, and other outings. I advocated for the client at appointments, relayed concerns, documents, and other information as requested by the family. I managed the scheduling of all future appointments. I reported to the family after each visit.

Accomplishments

I provided safe transportation and companionship. I got my client to appointments on time. I advocated well for my client. I managed scheduling efficiently and effectively. I made sure the family was up to date on all matters concerning my client. I provided respite for the family and took on some of the major responsibilities.

Responsibilities

Responsible for providing a safe, positive, therapeutic living environment to residents of a children's psychiatric mental institute, through independent judgment and discretion to achieve resident treatment success, and served as a professional member of the therapeutic treatment team serving the needs of the children entrusted to the care of LSI. Completed and adhered to all required training.

Duties included supervising 15-20 children in all aspects of daily living, providing a safe nurturing environment, providing direction, meals, transportation, supervised outings, used de-escalation techniques, and approved restraint technician when necessary, and contributed to the implementation and evaluation of their care plans.
