Purchase all raw materials for 2 production plants, promotional materials, IS supplies, company assets, full goods beverage items and all equipment for vending operations. Inventory valued at $20 million, average purchase order valued $400,000.

Single Source Project Manager- Program allowed other surrounding bottlers to purchase truckloads of product from Great Plains rather than multiple suppliers, which enables them to cut their inventories by 70%. The program also allowed significant freight savings for all parties involved.

SMEG Group Leader- “Subject Matter Expert Group”- Program idea designed by owner, Bob Browne, implemented by a group of individuals from several operational departments at Great Plains which researched inventory and ultimately decreased the company’s product shrink (waste) from $350,000 per period to $100,000 per period.
