The Federated Logistics System (FLO) system incorporates all the merchandise movement management functions through EDI, RCV,MAN. The function of the system is to manage the movement of merchandise from vendor to store through Distribution center (DC).

Monitoring jobs and scripts that are running in FLO system with the help of Control M & WS FTPPro.

Provide offshore production support for FLO system in batch cycle and also provide temporary fix for batch issues.

This application is used by customer service representatives, and it’s responsible for creating and maintaining SKUs, entering stock orders, generation, special orders, generating receipts to locate production warehouse and handling customer sales checks.

Responsibilities:

Worked on root cause analysis. Monitored jobs that are running in RDS system with the help of Control M.

Provided offshore support for RDS database in batch running jobs and gave a temporary fix.

Performed Batch Processing request for resolving batch abends.

After the batch cycle, analysed those jobs and took backups and provided permanent fix for the job abends.

Worked on online abends and provided resolutions for severity 2 and 3 tickets.

CA Datacom has developed new technology within the Datacom Data Base using IBM’s Cross Coupling Facility (XCF) services to allow a program to directly connect to multiple Datacom MUF. This allows an application program to directly route a specific data base request to a specific MUF, and then directly route another request to a different MUF, etc.

Responsibilities:

Analyzed 300 programs and made the list of impacted programs, JCLs and PROCs.

Had done the code changes for all the impacted programs and changed the corresponding JCLs and PROCs.

Done the unit testing for all the programs and prepared the necessary documents to move the codes to production.

Monitored the code changed programs in production and gave the support.
