Process improvement and applying lean methodology principles on oil quantity optimization for reducing the uneven absorption on blanks in stamping of Ford Ecosport.
Examined various factors such as pressure setting, roller parallelism, surface roughness, blank shape, etc. by doing time studies in charge of the inconstancy in oil application on blanks and brought the coveted yield by changing the settings of blank washer.
Did various tests and quality checks on blanks, coming out of stamping and found there was an uneven observation, which results in reduction of life span of blanks.
Implemented a new setting on shop floor which decreased rework rate by 25% and saved 2 production hrs./week helping them to maintain inventory.

Worked on reducing quality issues and defects facing on the wood cutter during powder coating process.
Courses of action were executed using the six sigma tools, DMAIC methodologies, and there was a predominant yield.
Reduced Process time by 22% which would ensure smooth flow of work as well as quality standard are met. Introduced new work Flow which reduced rework by 20 % and saved 1-man hour a day.
Recommended new layouts and design which would reduce assembly time by 15%.
Design and analysis of experiments
Concepts: - Anova, RCBD, Blocking and Confounding, Two-level fractional factorial design, Regression models, Response surface methods and design, Mixture design.
Experiment to determine the factors improving Photographs.
Several factors are considered at two levels each and experiment is performed with Nikon D3300.
Significant observations are made, and conclusions are drawn. Future analysis is suggested with mixture design to know outcome with more variable settings.
Airline delay analysis and on-time performance of the airports Transportation analytics
Concepts: - Hypothesis, Regression models – linear and logistic, time series, confusion matrix prog.
Real reasons for delay are distinguished and used to anticipate which day of the week, month, air terminal and aircraft is more inclined to delays. [major airlines and airports are considered]
Importance of climate has been tested with snowfall and precipitation information for significant airports, which found to have impact on the delays.
