JASON MORDOH

I have several years experience in commercial and editorial photography, starting as an assistant and moving up to digital technician and photographer. I have worked on a variety of projects ranging from food and fashion to automotive and architecture, presidents to musicians for advertising and commercial projects, along with events, gallery showings and art show exhibitions. My work has appeared in AutoWeek, Automobile, Motor Trend, MC2, Car Kulture Deluxe and Ol' Skool Rodz magazines as well as many automotive shows and events including Mecum Auctions, The Palos Verdes Concours d'Elegance, Los Angeles Grand Prix Vintage Races and Concours, Rodeo Drive Concours d'Elegance, Art Center Car Classic, SEMA, and The Los Angeles AutoShow. I work with all of the Adobe Creative Suite software programs and with Photoshop specifically since version 2.0. I also have experience in multi-media production, film editing, graphic design, logo design and page layout. This has included creating billboards, posters and fliers for advertisements and promotional materials. Additionally, I have been involved in all aspects of running a photography studio from estimating and paperwork to post production and billing. From the November 2009 through July 2015, I was the in-house photographer and stage manager at Avenue Six Studios in Van Nuys, California. Durring my tenure at Avenue Six Studios, some of my job duties included product and fashion photography, production stills, DIT production, and multi-media productions. I created, organized and maintained the photography archive/library of all photo shoots and production stills. I was also essential in the design, photography, management and maintenance of the company web site, as well as data entry, marketing, advertising, promotion, logo creation and graphic design of all brochures and promotional material. I have experience in a pc and mac environment on Adobe Photoshop, InDesign, Illustrator and with Quark Xpress, Microsoft Word, Excel and Powerpoint.

I am currently working with Apple as a Photo Historian documenting store remodels and reopenings in the Southern California area.

All of these experiences have given me the opportunity to demonstrate initiative and the ability to see a project through from concept to completion in both a team environment and on my own.

Several years as an assistant, digital technician and photographer on a wide range of jobs from food and fashion to automotive and architecture for advertising, editorial and commercial usage, along with events, gallery showings and art show exhibitions. I also have experience working in the grip and camera departments on music videos, public service announcements, infomercials, commercial and film projects.

From the end of 2009 through July of 2015, I was the in-house photographer and stage manager at Avenue Six Studios in Van Nuys, California. Durring my tenure at Avenue Six Studios, some of my job duties included product and fashion photography, production stills, DIT production, and multi-media productions. I created, organized and maintained the photography archive/library of all photo shoots and production stills. I was also essential in the design, photography, management and maintenance of the company web site, as well as marketing, advertising, promotion and graphic design of all brochures and promotional material. Since leaving Avenue Six Studios, I have been working for several clients as a freelance photographer and graphic designer on projects ranging from rebranding, social media promotion and pilot show sizzle reels. I am currently working with Apple as a Photo Historian documenting store remodels and reopenings in the Southern California area.

• I have been working in mac and pc environments for many years and with Adobe Photoshop since version 2.0.

• Complete understanding of digital production, photo editing and image retouching.

• I have worked on several raw capture software programs including PhaseOne’s CaptureOne Pro, Leaf Capture, Adobe Lightroom and Apple Aperture.
