ExxonMobil Umbrella Project, USA. Served as Subcontract Administrator for four projects and the startup of a Contracts Management function for a new project at the same site. Project included NOx compliance, FCC updates, and updating and re-fitting of units for eight projects located in three locations: Beaumont TX, Billings MT, and Joliet IL. Administered five subcontract groups including Mechanical (Lead), I&E, Civil, and Piping. Worked with eight different sites and multiple types of packages to complete these NOx projects. Earned the highest rating from the client for this work. Construction was completed on time and at a cost savings. Working with six sites not all listed above, contributed to the shutdown phases to tie in the packages and support with contractors.
Diluent Recovery Unit (DRU) Project, Long Lake, ON, Canada. For a project to expand and develop the process to refine and produce straight run diluents, expanded the FEED (Front End Engineering Design) to procure long lead items. Drastically trimmed the schedule to allow the client to meet ambitious objectives. Provided the procurement support that enabled the company to avoid delays, a critical factor in the short construction season in upper Alberta, Canada.
Total Services Orénoque S.A.S. (TSO), Petrocedeño Capital Project, Venezuela. For an engagement to update and ensure the supply of procured items from TSO, met client’s needs for materials to be supplied on time and available for shipment to site via ocean freight. Earned one of the highest ratings ever from a demanding client.
Valero Port Arthur Flare Gas Recovery Project. Provided procurement support for a three phase project to run in a continuous manner with set completion schedules. Assisted the management team with contract administration and interpretation as well as with payment scheduling, subcontract administration, and file and close-out. Brought the three projects to conclusion on schedule and at a cost savings of 20+%. Helped ensure that the client, contractors, and engineering groups worked in harmony. Working with the sites Contractor Supervisor and Project Manager, along with Technip’s site engineering group, assisted to complete the tie-in phases of the three projects during two shut down periods.
ConocoPhillips Trainer Aromatics Extraction Unit, Trainer, PA. Implemented project procurement plans, project approved vendor lists, and day to-day procedures for an Aromatics Extraction Unit to eliminate products via a proprietary technology to meet a government-mandated schedule. Worked closely with Engineering, Estimating, and Scheduling to meet, set-up, and supply qualified information for the submittal of the Project Estimate. Submitted packages to Suppliers for the establishment of long-lead materials to be purchased allowing the Project to meet the schedule.
ExxonMobil Umbrella Project, USA. Member of the project management team which submitted and updated the procurement plan and day-to-day procedures required for a team-motivated project in Billings, MT. Reviewed procedures for the implementation of these projects for the client's support in a very high profile and active undertaking to meet government-mandated schedules.
Confidential Client, LLDPE Project. For an complex project (Engineering Design Specification [EDS] execution for a single train, Linear Low Density Polyethylene [LLDPE] Unit based on proprietary technology), served as a member of the project management team which submitted a Procurement Plan and a Traffic-Logistics Plan. Reviewed procedures for the implementation of an EPCM Project so as to complete the EDS2 Phase. Provided materials and contracting support to the client to allow the client to meet time and supply needs with three other groups in a joint venture to start up a new unit, pipeline and supply procedures as well as a time schedule for the railway line.

KBR Real Estate Services. Supervised Senior Subcontract Administrators and trained Supervisors in the management of Subcontracts. Contributed to the completion of a ten floor re-model and complete office configuration on time with thirteen subcontractors working simultaneously.
Purchasing Supervisor, Burullus Development Project, Cairo, Egypt. Helped establish and maintain the project schedule for the onshore division as part of the project management team for a multi-national LNG Project. The team confirmed the support from the engineering firm, the construction / fabricator group and the existing plant operations of a sister group to construct and procure materials for the new project and establish a tie-in shutdown schedule allowing an early start-up of the new plant.
Purchasing, US Embassy, Kabul, Afghanistan. Responsible for purchasing both bulks and engineered packages including, cement, fire systems, HVAC units, electrical components, building materials, and secure items for the US Embassy in Afghanistan.
MCNIC, Secondary Coal Recovery Project. Set the priority of shipments that included six separate job sites. Assisted Cost Group, Engineering, and Accounting Departments with varied requirements. Initiated and followed up contacts with all vendors to insure the timely arrival of materials on site. Expedited the manufacturing, sub order scheduling and documentation of the vendors to meet requirements. Monitored the source expediting/inspector reports for crucial vendors. Documented milestones for progress payment of suppliers’ invoices.
