PUBLICATIONS

• Juzi Zhao, Anisha Joseph, and Vinod M.Vokkarane, “Sequential and Parallel Scheduling of Dynamic Bandwidth- Intensive Scientific Workflows in Elastic Optical Networks”. (IEEE ICC 2017, Best Paper Runners up). PROJECTS

Thesis Research Project

• Scheduling network, computational and storage resources in Elastic Optical Networks. Simulation using C++ Computer Network Security (Spring 2017)

• Implementation of IDEA algorithm (ECB and CBC modes) using C++

• Implementation of secure instant messenger (IM) with RSA using Java Computer Architecture and Design (Spring 2017)

• Simulated a two-stage hierarchy (data cache and main memory) in software and analyzed its effectiveness

• Designed and implemented direct mapped, two way associative and fully mapped cache Network Design, Protocols and Applications (Fall 2016) Implemented the following:

• RDT 1.0 over a reliable UDP channel

• RDT 2.2 over an unreliable UDP channel with bit errors

• RDT 3.0 over an unreliable UDP channel with bit errors and loss

• Go-Back-N protocol over an unreliable UDP channel Advanced Logic Design (Fall 2016)

• Simple Disjoint Decomposition and Exclusive-OR Switching Circuits

• Design of a Binary Code Converter

• Design of a Digital Combination Lock

Design of High Electron Mobility Transistor (Spring 2016)

• Analyzed AlGaAs/ GaAs HEMT

• Designed SiGe HEMT using Silvaco tool

Building an AMBA AHB Compliant Memory Controller (2014)

• The memory access time in microprocessors is a bottleneck which limits system performance

• A memory controller is designed to address this problem. The memory controller is a part of the system that controls the memory. It generates the necessary signals to control the reading and writing of information from and to the memory

• The AMBA memory controller consists of three modules AHB slave interface, configuration interface and external memory interface. These modules were modelled and simulated using VHDL AMBA: Advanced Microcontroller Bus Architecture

AHB: Advanced High-performance Bus
