SR. PROJECT MANAGER - 12/2013 – 02/2018
• Manage multiple projects for internal and external clients and manage the project teams that took the requirements and architectural information to build out servers and databases, networks, storage, routers, for the client has agreed to. Most of these project followed the Agile methodology. Some followed the Waterfall Methodology.
• IPSoft Project - Working with the IPSoft resources to implement a ticket tracking system used for supporting the clients. This was a 5 Million dollar project
• Managed the project that for 4 of the Entergy Clients to upgraded their equipment and software to current versions.
• Managed a project with one of the clients to migrate their Data Center over to the CGI data center in Phoenix AZ
• Managed the Project to re-engineer the Cigna network in the Data Center in Phoenix AZ. Worked with the network engineer to order the equipment, have it installed, wired and routed to the new network. This was done over a weekend and the outcome was a success.
• Managed a project that moved the applications and databases over the AZURE Cloud. The project was done in waves with the less mission critical applications going first and worked up to the most mission critical going in the last wave.
DELIVERY MANAGER - STATE OF VERMONT - 01/2013 – 11/2013
• Traveled weekly to Burlington, Vermont.
• Worked as an architect and development manager on the statewide Health Insurance Exchange Project. Managed the Infrastructure Team, Data management Team and Migration Team
• Worked with the client to design and build out their multiple environments to be used for development, testing and production of the State of Vermont Healthcare System.
• Reported weekly progress to the PMO Management Team
• Participated in daily SCRUM meetings with the development team
TRANSITION / DEVELOPMENT MANAGER - FANNIE MAE – 08/2011 – 12/2012
• Traveled weekly to Washington D. C.
• Work with Fannie Mae Support team to transition Application support over to CGI
• Transition Level 2 support of 32 applications over to a team of 6 CGI resources that supported and trouble-shoot any issue with the applications.
• Part of this transition 6 different Quality Gates had to be passed, and the list of deliverables had to be captured and documented on the client’s SharePoint site. All gates were approved and passed for all of the applications.
• Work with Fannie Mae Development team to transition Development support over to CGI
• Managed the pool of 22 discretionary developers that work with the Fannie Mae developers to transition over support and development of the 54 applications.
• The 22 developers were involved in project and production support of the applications
TEAM LEAD / PMO - AIR LIQUIDE – 11/2002 – 08/2011
• Managed the work load and assignment for a team of 10 analyst that were local and off-shore.
• Held daily meetings to review tickets and priorities.
• Participated in weekly change control meetings to explain the migration of the programs that my team was responsible for to be promoted to the production instance.
• Established yearly objectives and goals for the team members and review these on their anniversary dates.
• Projects that I managed ranged from 100 to 1000 hours.
• One of the projects that I managed was the upgrade of a document control application called SmartSolve. This project was high regulated because of its required FDA validation. There were 165 validation scripts that had to be ran against the application. If the scripts had any major deviations the application had to be configured or program to correct the deviation.
• Participated as the project manager for the installation and upgrade of the Maximo application that was used for transportation and industrial gas production.
AIR LIQUIDE
SENIOR APPLICATIONS DEVELOPER – 10/1989 – 11/2002
• Responsibilities included implementing and maintaining the Oracle Applications PO/AP, WIP/BOM / MFG.
• Supported these applications using PL/SQL, SQL and Oracle Reports 2.5
• Implemented a Warehouse Management System called ClearOrbit that interface with the Oracle applications. This system used barcode scanners to do the day-to-day operations of the warehouse PO Receipts, Inventory transactions, Order pulling and Manufacturing transactions.
• Participated in the migration of the Mainframe systems move to Oracle Financial applications.
• Projects that I managed ranged from 100 to 1000 hours.
