Dear Hiring Manager:
I am an RN that is looking for a work from home position. I have been a practicing nurse for 25 years and the physical aspects of the job have begun to take their toll. My body is no longer happy being on its feet 10-12 hours a day.
I am hard working, highly organized, a fast learner and a strong self-starter. I believe my excellent attention to detail, exceptional organizational skills, high level of autonomy and excellent time management, will make me an asset to your company. Despite the fact that I have been practicing nursing for the past 25 years, I have had some training as a medical transcriptionist through a job shadowing program at the last nursing position that I held. I was praised by the Supervisor of Transcription for my speed and accuracy. I type 60 wpm at 100% accuracy and 70 wpm at 90% accuracy.
Although my background is in nursing, I have still attached my resume for your consideration. It details my nursing career more comprehensively and includes my certifications and educational background. Thank you for your time and I look forward to hearing from you.
Sincerely,
Cheri Hughes
