Shiraz ahmed was born into a family of great legendary musician of moradabad gharana . Shiraz Ahmed learning classical, vocal, ghazal, light music and Sufi kalam over a period of childhood, from ustad Ghulam sabir khan who is the well known sarangi maestro in India and moradabad gharana.

Shiraz has also trained by their grand an legendary teacher (late) ustad siddiqu Ahmed khan saheb who was the great sarangi and vocal maestro from moradabad gharana. Now, ustad ghulam sabir khan giving them prefect training under " Guru shishya prampara" . There training was veritable repository of traditional composition in India classical music like 'khayal' Gayaki thumri, Tappa tarana and e.t.c.

Shiraz has performed extensively in India and abroad and has won wide critical acclaims . They have also sung for muzaffar Ali in "tajjali" and festival jahan -e- khusro. They have performed in France & reunion and mhalaxmi under the auspices of sarthi. They have also performed in dancer- rachna yadav, prerna shrimali, navtej Singh johar, naveena jafa and anusha lal e.t.c.

They had done job in bhartiya kala kendra for two years and now doing job in the rachna yadav kathak studio.

They have performed in several music festivals like : khajuraho music festival, ustad aman Ali khan music festival and those organized by sahitya kala parishad vasuki natyashala, Sarthe, naina devi foundation, bade Ghulam Ali khan saheb yaadgaar sabha, Malhaar festival " in Mumba, saurang prampra music festival moradabad gharana and guru pradeep Shankar academy music festival. They have performed in Shillong, France and udaipur
