Barnes & Noble.com, offers the largest in-stock selection of in-print book titles with access to approximately one million titles for immediate delivery, supplemented by more than 30 million listings from its nationwide network of out-of-print, rare and used book dealers. Barnes & Noble.com offers its customers fast delivery, easy and secure ordering, and rich editorial content. The new Native iOS BNAPP & BN mobile browser (m.bn.com) Checkout project was evolved because B&N.com was migrating their pages from .NET to Java platform to provide a new experience to their online customers. Since the “Instant Purchase” and “Buy Now” pages were migrated earlier, The BNAPP & BN mobile browser Checkout concentrated mainly on the “Physical Checkout” items as well as smooth integration of new pages with the existing ones.

Role: QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

Analyzed business requirements and functional documents, created the test strategy document that define the test environment, phases of testing, entrance and exit criteria into different phases of testing and resources required to conduct the effort.

Participate in daily scrum meetings.

Objective was to enhance the user interface by introducing various features and functions related to Order workflow, Order fulfillment, file management, image management and web page layout, checkout/online cart. The Application is developed completely using Java/ J2EE technologies and deployed on Linux system.

Role: QA Automation Engineer

Responsibilities:

●Involved in automating the reports functionality, which is critical to test in every Regression Phase, and which covers thousands of test cases.
