Senior Geologist - Geomodeller with 12 years of experience in field development and exploration.

Highly skilled and competent geomodeller in dealing with wide range of complicated and challenging reservoir styles across Middle East and North Africa region e.g. (Kuwait, Saudi Arabia, Abu Dhabi, Algeria and Egypt.

Expert in modeling clastics and carbonates reservoirs integrating open hole logs, SCAL data, engineering data ( RFT, etc..) as well as post and pre stack seismic inverted results to produce more robust and meaningful 3D static reservoir models.

Senior Geologist - Geomodeller at Kuwait Oil Company (KOC). key responsibility:

Build high resolution meaningful Geocellular models at field and near-field prospect scale Integrating well, seismic, geological, engineering and other potential field data types as required to maintain an up-to-date geological understanding of the subsurface and associated risk elements.

Defining hydrocarbon in place (HCIIP) and associated risk elements by applying own geological knowledge and experience to understand and quantify the lateral and vertical distribution of the hydrocarbons.

Reserve Calculation using different tools like (CPS-3, Mont Carlo, and 3D Models) and different approaches like (deterministic, Stochastic and scenarios).

Apply sensitivities on the various modeling input parameters of the base case model to address full field range of uncertainty and its impact on P10, P50 and P90 volumetric scenarios “Keep Uncertainty Live”.

Responsibility for geoscience input to drilling, completion, stimulation, testing and work-over programs. When required, contributing to regional geological studies and analysis with the aid of well correlations, petrophysical data, reservoir maps and geophysical data within the area of interest.

Participating in definition, design and execution of data acquisition programs.

Providing QA/QC of external studies got involved, by ensuring that work is performed according to company best practices and standards.

Reservoir Geologist - Geomodeller at (Rashpetco /British Gas Joint venture) in Egypt.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities :

I started my oil and gas career with Rashpetco – British Gas joint venture in Egypt by providing classical and routine geological well activities as (well correlation, generating reservoir different quality maps) and follow up well operations.

Conduct pre and post drill well geological evaluation.

Assist in seismic interpretation of field data by working closely with geophysicist to aid in an optimum structural interpretation.

Mapping reservoir features that could be relevant to reservoir management and field development planning.

Fault Seal Analysis Using 1D & 3D models.

Build and maintain the 3D geocellular models and keep them up to date for field and near field prospect scale. Interact daily with reservoir engineers to maximize value from the static models and as well as understanding field dynamic issues that require model updates.

Contribute to field appraisal, development well Planning and piloting by ensuring that all new well locations are reflecting the last geophysical interpretation, final model updates and confirmed by reservoir engineering.

Step by step with Rashpetco I built a great experience and develop myself a lot till I became today highly skilled team player in multidisciplinary asset teams integrating geological, geophysical and production data with focusing on quantify hydrocarbons in place (HCIIP), optimizing well placement and field development plans (FDP’S).
