Led the OSS Audit & Compliance effort across vSphere project (vCenter and ESXi Server), redefining workflows, policy, process and metrics.

Part of vSphere 6.5 Release Management Team driving the definition, execution, delivery and maintenance of the highly complex cross-functional vSphere software release for VMware’s flagship product. Continued to work on 6.6 (SaaS) and 6.7 (On-Prem) Releases.

Responsible for tracking and reporting on PR’s across multiple products; staying on track with release schedule.

Worked with DevOps to develop Tableau Reports for Bug Dashboards (Projection, PR Trend, Throughput, HeatMap), Test Reports (Test Area Execution, PR Impact Report, Untriaged Failures Dashboard), Feature Reports (PMT Features by Status, PMT Features past FC date) and Security (Open vSphere Security PRs).

Led the Interop effort to establish interoperability matrix with other VMware products bundled with vSphere.

Part of the team driving implementation of SDLC improvements across BUs and vSphere engineers across the globe transitioning to CI methodologies in support of new VMware Cloud product offerings without affecting feature velocity. Built a high performing offshore maintenance team capable of taking over 80% of reported issues seen in software releases within a 6-month timeframe.

Cisco Systems San Jose, CA Software Engineer, Unified Access Business Unit 2008 – 2014

Spearheaded the development team’s effort in the componentization of all Multicast features for both IPv4 and IPv6 on the Catalyst 4000 platform, which involved integration with multiple teams across Cisco.

Worked on the platform dependent portion of the Layer 3 Bidir PIM protocol for Cat4k alongside other PI technology groups.

For a high priority customer EFT developed and tested IP Multicast Multipath feature, with the (s,g) hash and (s,g) next-hop hash to include source, to effectively load split multicast traffic based on the source address of the stream.

Developed the IGMPv3 Host Stack feature, IPFIX exporter, rewrite operation for EVC switching and User-based rate limiting using Dynamic Buffer Limiting to prevent oversubscription of CPU queues thus avoiding high CPU events.

Implemented Multicast HA support for PIM Sparse, Dense, Bidir, and SSM modes and at Layer 2 for IGMP and MLD Snooping, which will ensure uninterrupted multicast traffic flow in the event of a supervisor engine failure.

Led L2/L3 Multicast TOI's for newly formed team based out of Bangalore, India.

Constantly engaged with TME’s and Customers on feature requirements for future software releases, scope and priority issues seen in released software versions.

Designed and developed Layer 3 Multicast test cases as part of regressions to improve the weekly build image health.
