Summary:

I am a Professional MS Access / SQL Server developer who offers his clients superior customer service. I guarantee that their data will be imported without errors including configurable business rules, that it will be stored securely and without corruption, that the data in all exports will be accurate, and that all calculations will be mathematically correct. If it is determined that there are errors in my code or the application does not meet or exceed the specifications of the contract, I will return at my own expense to correct those issues.

oTo insure the requested level of security, the Access frontend was divided into 5 separate databases. A 2007 and 2010 versions of each database were maintained. The Access databases did not hold local data. They were used solely as containers for forms and VBA code. The access to the SQL Server database was through ADO and limited to stored procedures, views, and user defined functions. Users were added to SQL Server security roles to control their access.

oThe SQL Server database system consisted of a development, testing, and backup databases. Separate production databases were added for each field contract. Each database contained tables, views, stored procedures, user defined functions, and security roles.

A series of scripts run through Microsoft Enterprise Manager were used to facilitate maintenance of the databases and moving structures and data between the SQL Server databases.

An Access / SQL Server application to track and record all changes in data and application structure on an external hard drive was designed but development was not completed and it was never implemented.
