Positions and Achievements. -

Plant Manager Trikeenan Hornell, NY 2015 - 2017 Implemented strategic processes to improve plant operations of a ceramic tile business, emerging from bankruptcy, succeeding in coming out of the reds (-$200,000 to +$155,000) within a short period of 3 months. Re-engineered process by adding a third shift utilizing same work force, optimizing equipment and operators, leading to an increase in production of 35% from 18,000 sqft to 24,300 sqft /year. Create a Unitary Production Cost System, develop SOPs for all operations. Responsible for implementing an incentive bonus program to improve operators’ attendance, productivity and increase moral. Instrumental in the selection of personnel, ensuring appropriate training and creating operator position growth within the organization.

VP Operations Mount Franklin Foods LLC El Paso, TX/Juarez, Mexico 2010 - 2011

Large candy producer with strong private label and branded presence

Implemented a 100 days plan to turn operations around of two Candy Factories in Juarez, Mexico,

from loss to positive earnings. Led the implementation of lean manufacturing projects, using

techniques such as 5S, Kaizen, Total Predictive Maintenance and SMED. Improved employee

productivity from 49 lbs. to 55 lbs. per hour, by focusing on balanced scheduling, preventive

maintenance improvements, reduction of employee turnover, training and involvement of all

departments.

Travel agency, public notary, translation and interpretation services, preparation of legal

Plant Manager, Hudson Solid Surfaces Intl Tulsa, OK 2004 - 2006

Led plant operations after bankruptcy, increasing production to 24%, reduced costs in 25% and

reduced direct and indirect labor in 8%. Implemented overall production procedures and quality

standards.

Monitoring KPI’s for plant performance. Responsible for the acquisition of new equipment and technology from overseas. Strongly involved in the implementation of the Safety program (STOP) for the factory. Led the implementation and follow up the preventive maintenance program.

VP of Manufacturing Interceramic Inc. Dallas, TX /Chihuahua, Mexico 1989 - 1997

Began as Plant Manager for startup new ceramic tile plant with responsibility of 400 employees. As the change agent, led the implementation of new and participative methods of work with interdisciplinary groups to solve problems, using Continuous Improvement techniques as well as 5’S, Root Cause Analysis, Ishikawa Analysis and TQM, achieving the best performance of 5 plants. Promoted to VP of Manufacturing directing 5 plants, R&D Center, Machine Shop and Raw Material Mines. Develop and implemented a performance measurement system allowing plant to collect, analyze, and present data enabling a better understanding of production costs, cost analysis, efficiency and trends. Achieved the best results of the Corporation and was awarded the “Award to Excellence”.

Division Manager Celulosa de Chihuahua Chihuahua, Mexico 1977 - 1989

Start as Financial Analyst and Project Manager in charge of two major projects. Responsible for the

Financial and Economic Viability and funding of a plant to produce particle board and resins with an

investment of $600 MM dlls. The project increased group revenue in 20%. Promoted to Plant

Manager to start the installation and operation of a chemical plant with an investment of $100MM dlls

in South of Mexico. Develop and implemented all operations procedures, quality, maintenance,

policies, in addition to having responsibility for P&L. Promoted to Division Manager to lead operations

of 3 chemical plants.
