I was the owner and manager of a fleet of 9 trucks. During this time I had the contract at a brick factory where I was responsible for all the transport needs of the factory. My main responsibility was the planning of the loads from orders received on a daily basis. I was therefore responsible for scheduling, despatching and delivering of loads to numerous clients. I also managed between 9 and 15 personel. The factory experienced financial problems which of course had a similar effect on my business, and forced me to close down as well.

After a near fatal accident, I saw an opportunity to change careers.

2005-07 Owner of The Sleeper Shop, Durbanville

Due to a divorce in 2007 I felt the need to start a new life in Gauteng.

2007-08 Protea Projects, Pretoria

Quality assurance inspections on behalf of GDoH.

Sadly in November the director of Protea Projects passed away and I took over it's clients under Mogaba Concrete.

3.Management of Compliance and Quality aspects.

4.Scheduling and Delivery of Building Materials for Top-Structures.

5.The development of contract management and administrative processes to assist the Contractors to successfully complete their contracts and the identification, highlighting and mitigation of risks to the client and contractors.

6.Attendance of all Professional Team meetings and other meetings as deemed necessary and as required.

7.All interdependant attendances and liason with other members of the Professional Team for the effective co-ordination of the project.

8.It is the consultant’s responsibility to liaise with and agree with our client the budget provisions made in respect of all work falling under their control. Furthermore, should they become aware of any requirements, which exceed the budget provision, they are to immeditaely notify our client in order to participate in reanalysing this aspect to reduce costs if possible within parameters set out in the budget.

9.Plant Management inclusive of concrete batching and cement brick manufacturing as well as operator appointment, training and evaluation. Normally the client will have his own plant, but it will also be our duty te ensure that all plant run well and effectively. I hold a EC licence and can operate any construction machine, dumptrucks, excavators, tlb's, loaders, graders, rollers etc!

4.CBP Housing Project Ekhuruleni - Construction Management of 3200 Top Structures for Urban Dynamics.

5.CBP Housing - Quality Assurance on 2000 foundations for VGI Consult

6.Ivory Park - Construction Management and Quality Assurance on 300 houses and foundations for Xhasa ATC.

7.Lakeside + Boipatong - Quality Assurance on 1600 houses and foundations for SCIP Engineering.

8.Devland – Quality Assurance on 800 foundations and the construction management of 1400 houses for Urban Dynamics.

9.Springs – Uplifting,stockpiling and crushing of 7km railwayline.

10.Mabopane – Construction of bonded houses for New Century Developments.

11.Somerset East. - Construction of exclusive thatched lodges for New Century Developments.

12.Ga Rankuwa Extension 10 – Construction of 800m 350mm-500mm sewer mainline as well as the construction of foundations for 3 storey walkups and erecting of groudfloor apartments for New Century Developments

13.Mozambique - The construction of cellphone towers in the Manica Province on behalf of Lukisasa LDA.
