Objective

To continue my journey as an advanced practice nurse in outpatient family medicine, urgent care, or specialty clinic. My work as an advanced practice provider (APP) has been challenging and fulfilling. I am seeking a patient-centered practice setting where I am able to see and treat the patient and patient’s family as a whole. My approach to care is professionally holistic, evidence-based, and personalized to the patient. Qualifications

MSN degree with two years experience in, walk-in clinic, family practice, and geriatrics. I am experienced with multiple ambulatory care procedures. BSN degree with nearly 20 years diverse clinical nursing experience. Current RN and APRN license held in Texas. Previously licensed in Kansas. Several years experience with staff training and education, nursing student clinical preceptor, direct supervision of infusion suite staff and development / leadership role in a community based cancer center. Additional skills: local anesthesia, including digital nerve blocks, laser therapy for cosmetic use, dermatologic surgery assist, suturing, and IV insertion. Experience with direct care in occupational and outpatient oncology health setting. Work History

Close collaboration with facility providers to prevent hospital readmissions, accept more clinically acute patients and improve outcomes overall.
