Designed innovative assistive tools customized to patient needs to promote independence with ADL’s/IADL’s when the commercially available assistive devices did not serve patient requirements.

Project promoting functional and safe cooking activities with the use of modified cooking techniques as this facility did not have a kitchen available for teaching these skills to patients.

Prepared justification reports for insurance companies to obtain recommended DME.

Introduced the Patient Rated Wrist Hand Evaluation (PRWHE) tool to the hand therapy department. Presented a brown bag comparing the DASH v/s PRWHE including evidence-based research and feedback from a sample client population from within the clinic for recommendations on each tool use. The use of PRWHE decreased time spent on documentation & increased scheduled time for therapeutic interventions.
