Was hired to work on special projects for both the CEO and President of
Ace.
Worked with the CEO to develop applications to measure employees,
store operations, and provide tools for both corporate management and
the regions.

Was the IT Project Manager responsible for installing the JD Edwards
Purchasing Module. The major focus was to enter purchase requisitions that

Created an "Earned Hours" model that is used to match customer flow,
transactions processed, and the employees in determining if a store is
"Under" or "Over" staffed.
Created an Employee Profile on-line application that is used to review all
of the employee transactions and measures the revenue against any
"Cash Shorts" or "Returned Checks".

the process in collecting returned checks.

Served as a Liaison between clients and the Vanguard Systems
programming staff.
Provide pre-sales support to demonstrate to customers how Vanguard
Systems can become a partner in helping customers meet their
Information Systems goals.
Work with the Marketing staff to prepare and deliver demonstrations and
presentations on software either written or distributed by Vanguard
Systems.

Significant Achievements
Project manager responsible for the conversion of a 30 million-dollar
distribution company to Vormittag Associates VAI/2000 distribution
software.
The project included the installation of an AS/400, developing a
methodology to convert the data from the client's existing System 36,
working with programmers to write the conversion programs, and train the
client to use both the AS/400 and the software.
The project was completed on time and within budget.
Was responsible for working with a client to create a module for use with
American Software.
This module, written in RPG and interfaced with their COBOL Order Entry
module is used to determine the most cost-effective warehouse to service
an order.
The mission was to reduce the 25 million-dollar freight cost that the
company was currently spending while maintaining customer satisfaction.
Since the project has been implemented the client has experienced a 6%
cost reduction to date.

Responsible along with three partners in the creation of CMI to serve
physicians in a wide range of specialties in the billing of insurance
companies and self-pay population as well as provide management
information to help better manage their practices.
Responsible for the creation of the Physician Billing and Management
System (MASS/400) that was marketed as an in-house system for service
bureau clients as well as a stand-alone software package.
Directed a staff of Analysts, Programmers, software support staff, and
training staff to support our software product and clients.
Responsible for the functional and technical demonstration of MASS/400
as well as discussing with prospects the alternate offerings that CMI
offered.
Acted as the technical source in creating the relationship with IBM in
becoming an IBM Business Partner.
Led the technical team in the design of MASS/400 as well as being actively
involved in the writing of the code.
Significant Achievements
Developed software that was sold to both billing companies and physician
groups to manage their practice.
Over 200 practices have been serviced by MASS/400 in over a dozen
specialties.
CMI was selected as a preferred vendor for Pa. Blue Shield, Medicare, and
Aetna US Healthcare.
