PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE:
**/**** – 01/2018 Associate Signal Engineer
National Signal Technology Inc. NST
• Norfolk Southern Signal Design projects: I am responsible for designing hardware and software for wayside signaling using the client’s typical as a guideline to produce site-specific hardware and software design. I use GETS ACE to design and validate my software then simulate my software design using Princeton SATS. I am also responsible for designing Test Procedures and performed Rack Testing before releasing to the client.
• Model 4000 Grade Crossing Predictor (GCP): I am responsible for designing hardware using the client’s typical as a guideline to produce site-specific hardware design. I use Diagnostic Terminal (DT) program for site-specific parameters for the train detection feature of the 4000 GCP system.
• Union Pacific Signal Design projects: As Associate Signal Engineer, I am responsible for hardware design on wayside signal and highway crossing.
EDUCATION: Bachelor of Science, Electrical Engineering Southern Polytechnic State University (SPSU) in Marietta, GA GPA: 3.27/4.00
Georgia Institute of Technology
EXPERIENCE:
09/2010 – 12/2012 Dyno-Proven LLC.
• Certified Emission Inspector for Georgia Clean Air Force (GCAF), perform emission inspection on 96 and newer vehicle.
• Work with DynoJet to test for torque and horsepower of performance vehicle. Perform test and analysis using WideBand connection to control the Air/Fuel input to the combustion engine.
01/2012 – 05/2012 Undergraduate Researches:
• This research is about Direct Methanol Fuel Cell (DMFC) used as a source of electrical power. Under the guidance of Dr. Bill Diong, I used circuit modeling of the DMFC system to run testing program for various Temperature and various Flow rate changes. I was able to do data acquisition to understand the system better.
05/2011 – 05/2012 IT Student Assistants, SPSU Library:
• Perform system upgrades as necessary for software and hardware related components as needed
• Perform lite administrative duties on network servers
• Perform installations, repairs, troubleshoots, and preventative maintenance on student computers
SKILLS:
• Lab experience with Gw Instek Digital Oscilloscope, Agilent Function generator, Agilent Digital Multimeter, and Hewett Packard DC power supply.
• Experience with Windows-based computers, hardware and peripheral installation and service maintenance.
• Experience with basic to mid-level secured LAN and Wireless network setup.
• Familiar with C++, C programming and Assembly languages.
• Experience with MatLab and Simulink, P-spice, AutoCAD, and Hysis process simulation. PROFILES:
• Nominated Candidate, Who’s Who Among Students in America Universities & Colleges, 2011 in recognition of outstanding merit and accomplishment as a student.
• First graduated class of Electrical Engineering at Southern Polytechnic State University
(SPSU)
• Great leadership skills with the ability to communicate effectively, strategize, plan, and solve problems.
