Underwent a direct time study at the Pie Five Pizza Restaurant using Snap Back method: Sept 2015

Calculated obtained standard time in processing a single pizza by studying AVG observed time & normal time. Analyzed data to obtain variance and evaluate N (No. of samples required) for each element in the process. AVG Std. time obtained for servicing a single order was 3.88 (Decimal minutes). Hence the time required for pizza preparation is optimized.

Design and Fabrication of Multi Angled Fixture for VMC in ADDISON & CO., LTD Nov 2011

The fixture’s 2-d and 3-d drawings were designed in Auto CAD and Pro-E, while stress and strain were calculated in ANSYS. Finally, the working model of fixture is fabricated with the dimensions that tilts and swivels in all six degrees of freedom. The fixture holds the job in a Vertical Machining Center (VMC), thus optimizing the machining process with ease. On further automation, more tedious and demanding operations could also be achieved.
