Project: Reporting Analytics & Dynamic Assessment of Risk (Radar)

Description:

Global Risk Management leads bank-wide initiatives for managing risk and sustaining a strong risk culture, including the development and implementation of risk management measures. Managing risk is foundation to finance business and it provides ability to deliver responsible growth. RADAR provides global view of risk information in portfolio, subgroup, and instrument level, and across time to risk managers (partners). So the risk managers can have the flexibility to design their own risk views and provide important information to investors. Reporting risk in a concise and simple manner is very important to keep the risk management process easily actionable. RADAR uses RiskMetrics as its core risk calculation engine. Radar Offers Risk data, methodology, statistics validation & SLA and position data mapping.

Responsibilities:

●Responsible for the development and support of Radar Application in Java, Python and pl/sql.

●Participated in the Architectural & design reviews with the enterprise architectural teams and analysis, design, implementation of various Business Services using Java, Spring and Hibernate

●Wrote PL/SQL queries to access data from Oracle database and developed materialized views to perform basic query optimization for these Oracle databases. Implemented complex SQL queries on the database along with Stored Procedures, triggers and PL/SQL code blocks

●Involved in capturing feed files from a unix machine, read and store data in oracle database

Responsibilities:

●Supporting the project as an Automation Tester

●Supported the project as a Tester and Subject Matter Expert in analysing functional changes, Test Estimation and Risk based testing.

●Played key role in Billing Assurance team without any escalations and with very minimal defects in production
