I am a Board Certified Diplomat of Internal Medicine who has specialized in emergency medicine. My experience is quite diverse. I have worked as the sole physician on duty in rural and urban settings as well as part of a team of physicians in busy urban emergency rooms. My career began with locum tenens before serving three years as a flight surgeon and emergency physician in the United States Air Force. I have experience as a family practitioner as well as a general internist. In addition, Project Teamwork offered me the opportunity to serve as a physician on a mission trip to Honduras.

In 2012 I relocated to Southwest Virginia after many visits with my family in Wytheville, Va. This move allowed me to assist with the care of my aging mother as well as enjoy the lifestyle this lovely area affords.
