Project overview
Government Overpayments Department of Deposit Operations. This process deals with ACH Reclamations, death notices, and date of death balances for customer accounts. An ACH Reclamation occurs if a federal benefit payment is received after a customer passes away. Cap one need to send those funds back to the US Treasury. When Cap one team receive notification that a customer has died, it needs to place holds on the accounts, turn off the debit cards, and return the payment to the U.S. Treasury.
RPA Scope
Notification from US treasury is stored in chrodiant as cases. Each case associates with various details like customer transaction amount, account details etc.
The automation process should extract details from Chordiant, fetch account balances from the internal account management system impacs and perform various balance calculation to determine full/partial/low payment balance and decide the amount to return and account from which it needs to be returned. Post decision Bot must perform the required operation on impacs and generate report.

Synch time between impacs screens is constantly changing
Chordinat is embedded application over ie and object cloning /windows manage controls could not recognize controls

Cloud environment configs are different from on-prem environment.
Logics were complex and too many interactions with applications lead to performance issues.

Description: The main scope of this project is to reduce the costs and risks for faster turnaround verification and to reduce the human errors. The automation process utilized the front end applications and a system that completes all verification requirements with the press of a single hotkey using Automation Anywhere tool.
Responsibilities:
Designed and Implemented end to end automation process using Automation Anywhere tool.
Created database connections to fetch the data and automated the process to arrange the data with Automation Anywhere as per the client requirement.
Automated the tasks to exchange the data between ERP and application using web recorder and Scheduled those tasks to repeat as per requirements using Automation Anywhere.
