Ovation Select Cabin Management System: System is used to manage corporate aircraft cabin environment, galley, entertainment and information services control through an Ethernet network. Developed architecture and wrote software framework for the Core 4 card interface using the Linux operating system. This card is used by third-party vendors as an interface to equipment such as monitors, amplifiers, XM receivers, Blu-ray players and iPod docking stations. The software was architecture to use one code base, with the database schema giving the unit its behavior. Developed the Core4 Software documentation and procedures. Presented Core4 software architecture and design details during PDR and CDR. Maintained an Action Item List of open questions, concerns and design issues.

Worked with team that directly interfaced with third-party engineers to develop command and control protocols over RS-232/485, CAN, SPI, I2C, and Ethernet (UDP & TCP/IP) interfaces. Mentored and supervised contract engineers for completing this software and database schema development.

Developed and modified existing shell scripts for system startup and unit testing. Experience with distributing audio and video over multicast networks. MH System Configuration Tool Development: Developed tool set to configure the MH Cabin Management System using Microsoft Visual Studio 2005 .Net C# and C++. This application required ADO.Net to create Access databases from user input and by importing Excel aircraft configuration worksheets. SQL searches are used to provide the user interface with data from the Excel worksheets, access databases and XML data files.

JetmapI and JetmapII: Jetmap allows passengers to monitor the progress of their flight with high resolution, worldwide high-terrain and street-level maps. The unit utilizes the aircraft's Iridium SATCOM system to provide scrolling headlines, personalized stock reports, five-day weather forecasts and the complete text for news and sports stories. This content was delivered in a specialized XML format.

Developed a XP Embedded platform that boots from Compact FLASH. Developed software for the main board in C++, Jscript and VB Scripting. COM interfaces are used to communicate between MFC applications and project specific DLLs.

MH System: System is used to manage corporate aircraft cabin environment, galley and entertainment control through a CAN bus network. RS-485/RS-232 provides an interface to third party source equipment controller. Developed software for controlling DVD players, CD players, monitors, cameras and light controller with added sunrise/sunset effects to Quasar lighting. Baker Electronics Digital Audio System (BEDAS): BEDAS cockpit audio distribution system for interfacing with Rockwell Collins radios through an ARINC interface. The Grapevine is a digital point-of-sale phone terminal for e-commerce transactions, with an ATM-like capability for funds transfer and electronic banking. Speed dial buttons provide advertisers and consumers real time purchase of multiple services such as airline, concert tickets to the delivery of flowers.

Modeled the Grapevine software architecture using Rational Rose UML. Developed software for the main processor board for the DragonBall MC68328 using the GNU toolset. Project Leader for new development of Smart Payphone and Telecommunications equipment for the domestic and foreign markets. These products use coin, credit and smart card technologies as well as digitized voice prompts to simulate the interaction with a live operator. The smart phones can rate and cost effectively the call through any carrier or service provider. These phones maintain accurate call records and counter that can be polled or automatically delivered to an external computer.
