a)Not all business units were deployed to and some were using shadow systems.

b)Variations among corporate, business units and regulatory reporting requirements created complications more so in the light of the above fact.

c)Some business units were using Essential as an ‘operational system’ while others were merely entering ‘pre-rolled up parameters’ into the tool and yet some were not using Essential® at all.

e)There was an all-together different system (different from ESS) for Green House Gas (GHG) monitoring and reporting.

With Southwest Airlines’ acquisition of AirTran, they were giving away some of the aircraft maintenance systems of their own and moving on to the ones that AirTran used (TRAX®).
