Tasks performed:

• Visual inspection & interpretation of welding

• Dimensions of vessels

• All round quality and product produce

• Can perform incoming inspection, material search as well as heat number transfers. Fitter work

Removing and assemble nuts and washers on risers

Removing and assemble nose pin from riser

Removing and assemble dulpins from nose pin

Operating and setting up big and small hydraulic cut and bevel tool

First person to assemble and operate the howning tool for pin and box at N.O.V Cape Town

Assembling and completing a Telescopic Joint (TJ), doing everything from the packers to fitting the lifting clamps

Did all the operation tests on TJ

Stripped a water router completely for inspection

Did pressure testing on choke & kill and booster lines with chart recorder

Removing bolts that broke off during stripping

Worked with torque wrench and setting it to the required settings

Set and operate a hydraulic torque tool
