TIME MANAGEMENT
As a student athlete living away from home I successfully balanced five academic classes, part-time work (15 hours a week), university volleyball (25 hours a week, travelling every second weekend), volunteering (25+ hours a year) and domestic duties. Being focused and disciplined, combined with a strong work ethic, allowed me to play volleyball at a high level and to excel in my academic courses.

TEAMWORK
I bring the qualities I have developed playing team sports to the workplace: sharing a common goal and articulating a plan to achieve it, assigning a role to each team member, catering to people’s strengths, valuing the input of each member, offering support and encouragement where needed, identifying problems and trialing solutions together, being open to suggestions, and placing the team above the individual.
